The On Point Agency Halloween Creativity Challenge
Halloween isn’t just my (Natalia’s) favourite holiday. It might be every marketer’s favourite holiday. (Marketers who disagree, please put down the pitchforks; this is 100% anecdotal and backed by absolutely no data.)
A few years ago, the team at On Point decided to lean into the spirit of the season: fun, surprises, a hint of spookiness, and of course, candy.
We gave ourselves an internal challenge: create a Halloween-themed campaign.Our muse was the Montreal-based candy company Squish Candies.
Their brand is bright, playful, and full of personality, everything we love. But as the brand evolved over the last decade, one thing they have moved away from is creative boxes and gifting packaging.
We decided to bring that back with a twist.
Our team designed a gift box that not only celebrated the joy of candy, but also transformed into a game board. The candy itself became the playing pieces, turning a sweet treat into an interactive experience.

For us, projects like this are a reminder of why we love what we do: creativity, play, and a touch of chaos (the good kind) all rolled into one. Whether it is for a client or an internal challenge, we believe the best ideas often come from letting your imagination run wild.
